I am undefinable! Perhaps that is not grammatically correct, but it sums me up. I have been many things to many people - a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt. I am a friend, a co-worker, a mentor and an employee. I am a survivor, a victim, an optimist. My desire in this life is to be inspirational, happy and to live and share my life with those I love, I like and have yet to meet.
I am my own yin to my yang! I love the competitiveness of games, dream of the days I can walk through New York in my business suit and take classes toward another degree while looking forward to the days when I retire and wake up to do yoga, meditation and drink my chai tea latte overlooking the beach, or golf course of Paris streets (retirement goals!)
I was in 1st grade, I wrote a poem that was published in the school newspaper - defined my desire to be a writer. In 2nd grade I told my teacher, who was a nun and the whole class that I had a Shetland pony. This did not define me as a liar, but more as a storyteller and a girl who learned about catholic guilt at an early age. My first year in college I learned a life lesson that I needed to put everything into my dream for a college degree and fight for what I wanted.
